Sustainability and Volunteering: Hackney
Volunteering plays a vital role in the sustainability of London’s communities. Each year, over 2000 UCL students volunteer throughout the community with the help of the UCL Volunteering Service, which connects students to over 400 partner organisations across London.

UCL Leaders Conference 2023
UCL Leaders Conference at UCL East The 20th and 21st of January 2023 saw one of the biggest student-led conferences, UCL Leaders, take place in London for the 7th year in a row. This time, in UCL East, the new UCL campus in Stratford, East London.
Welcome to One Pool Street
Students arrive to the new buildingOne Pool Street is the first building of the new project UCL East campus. Here UCL plan to grow and develop new buildings that will host both old and new degree programmes. There are also 552 rooms in One Pool Street where students will be living.

Slide into City Mill Skate at UCL East
Landing at UCL East this October is a new place to hang - City Mill Skate.Right next to One Pool Street is City Mill Skate. The unique space is full of permanent skateable objects, and makes a great addition to London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
