Students arrive to the new building
One Pool Street is the first building of the new project UCL East campus. Here UCL plan to grow and develop new buildings that will host both old and new degree programmes. There are also 552 rooms in One Pool Street where students will be living.
It’s the biggest development in our nearly 200-year history.

Our new shop opens!
The brand new Students' Union UCL store has also opened to the public, offering a great range in One Pool Street.
At the shop you'll be able to pick up:

• Toiletries
• Tote bags
• Zero waste refill
• Frozen food
• & more...
The store will be open Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm.
Welcome events
To properly launch the campus, your Union has organised a packed week of activity (Mon 14 - Fri 18 Nov). Every day there will be stalls from 12pm-2pm.
Monday 14th - Tour the London Stadium – visit the iconic Olympic stadium, now home to West Ham United.
Tuesday 15th – Ride the Orbital Slide – brave the iconic slide with discounted entry for this event only!
Wednesday 16th – Red Bus Tour – discover East London on an iconic Red Bus!
Friday 18th – Party Party Bingo with the Good Time Gals – Celebrate the end of the week with our big party across the street at The Last Drop.
Saturday 19th – Pantomime Trip: Cinderella - take in a British Pantomime on its opening night!

Project active launches at UCL East campus
Students will also be able to access key Union initiatives like Project Active at the new campus.
There are a number of great options including regular Yoga and Pilates, there's a 5k Run at the Velopark, and football social leagues.
Tuesday 15th – Pilates (weekly) – low-impact flexibility, strength and endurance movements.
Monday 21st – Vinyasa Yoga (weekly) – stretch, breathe, and rebalance yourself.
Wednesday 23rd – 5km Run - take this amazing opportunity to run inside an Olympic venue!
Thursdays 5-aside Football Social League – there’s still time to sign up to play as a team or individual.

If you want to get other activity happening at UCL East campus we've set up a fund. We strongly recommend societies, networks, and volunteering projects apply!
There is also a submission box where you can recommend events.
