Jazz Society: Media & Publicity Officer

I've had an unforgettable time being part of the jazz society and haven't had any regrets since joining in freshers week. Besides creating memories and friends among those part of the jazz community, in this position, I hope to get more involved with society as the media and publicity officer, promoting and documenting what happens behind the scenes, both during rehearsals and also at the tons of socials that take place. As a member of the jazz choir and big band, I'll be able to willingly engage with both jazz soc societies regularly and provide insights into the day-to-day workings of the jazz community, whether that be at the institute bar, Phineas jams, jazz workshops or at the incredibly produced term concerts. More logistically, I'll also dedicate time to the social pages, ensuring that as many people hear and are informed about events and showcases as soon as and as much as possible.
