Italian Society: President

Ciao a tutti!

I’m Sebastiano Longo, a first-year Mathematics with Economics student, and I’m excited to continue my journey with the UCL Italian Society. As the current Head of Events, I have worked to organize engaging experiences and I wish to continue to do so.
My goal is to expand our society, strengthening its presence, bringing Italians together even more. I am already reaching out to prominent Italian figures, including politicians like Carlo Calenda and the CEO of one of Italy's biggest companies, to organize inspiring events that showing some of the people who shape our country.
Beyond UCL, I am working with fellow Italian society leaders from other London universities, such as Uzza de Gregorio (Head of Events at LSE Italian Society) and Francesco Straniero (President of Oxford Italian Society), to enlarge our network and create a stronger and wider Italian community across the UK.

I am committed to continuing this work alongside Beatrice Baldi (running for Treasurer) and Giulia Matteucci (running for Head of Events), to build a strong and united committee to achieve the best results as UCL Italian Society!
