The primary aim of the SRI Society is to extend the study of social sciences beyond the classroom and into the real world.
What do we do?
- Foster a strong sense of community and belonging among SRI students, both undergraduate and postgraduate;
- Provide academic enrichment through debates, talks, panels, publications, and research-oriented activities;
- Promote critical thinking, interdisciplinary dialogue, and engagement with contemporary social issues;
- Support students’ professional development by showcasing careers beyond traditional pathways, particularly in public service, policy, research, and social impact sectors;
- Create opportunities for networking with academics, alumni, professionals, and external organisations;
- Encourage inclusivity, wellbeing, and accessibility in all Society activities;
- Facilitate student-led initiatives such as publications, hackathons, and collaborative projects.
We're open to everyone, so come join!
