At the Economists' Society,  we are committed to provide an unforgettable out-of-Logan-Hall experience for all UCL students studying or interested in Economics and Economics-related courses. 

As the official departmental society and largest economics society at UCL, we host events with top speakers in economics and related fields, socials, exclusive UCL Economics alumni networking events, and workshops with our sponsors.  The Society was founded in 2018, and joined the Students Union in 2024. 

Our Flagship Events

  • London Economics Conference: a 2-day event in collaboration with LSE Economics hosting speaker panels  on the most exciting topics in economics
  • Alumni Networking Evening: an evening bringing together UCL Economics alumni and current students, as well as those working with our 2025-2026 sponsors
  • The David Ricardo Ball: an exclusive End-of-Year celebration for Economics students 

Membership Types:

TASTER (£0) - Access to all events for the first week of term. Please note that after 5th October 2025, all attendees for events should have purchased a Standard  membership.

STANDARD (£3) - Access to all events throughout the year. Please note that social events and flagship events may have additional costs.
