Established in 1908, The UCL Conservative Society is the oldest student Conservative association in England.
It’s a great pleasure to introduce you to the UCL Conservative Society. We are the most active – and probably the most sociable – political society on campus!
Throughout the year, we will host a variety of weekly events which will fall under our 3 pillars of operation: Work, Culture and Fun.
Our signature event is Port and Policy which happens, without fail, every Thursday evening and has been the keynote, signature event since the establishment of this society. Alongside entertaining P&Ps and socials, we will host high-profile speakers and other networking, work-related events to ensure our members have every opportunity to further their professional and political ambitions! Finally, our members will have the opportunity to get lost in an environment of intellectual rigour and classical culture, fostered through our highlight cultural events such as Opera, theatre and beyond.
Everyone is welcome, from seasoned politicos to intellectual visionaries to those just looking for a place that feels like home. You certainly don’t have to be a Tory! It's a great opportunity to hear from influential politicians, engage in debates, and most importantly have a drink and make some great friends.
We look forward to welcoming you to all our events!
