My name is Remi and I'm the mascot for UCL Anime Society!
Here at UCL Anime Society, we regularly hold many social events for all our members to attend. Let me tell you all about some of my favourite socials!
Karaoke
Doesn't matter if you're tone deaf or an amazing singer, our karaoke events are the perfect opportunity for you to sing to your heart's content! From nostalgic tunes like A Cruel Angel's Thesis from Neon Genesis Evangelion to the lastest viral hits like Idol by YOASOBI, a wide variety of songs are queued at every karaoke event. Maybe you'll also find your new favourite J pop song here...
Presentation Night
Do you have that burning desire to tell somebody about your newest anime obsession? Why not do so at one of our presentation nights? Just make an eye catching powerpoint presentation to go with your talk and maybe even prepare a script and dress up if you're really invested. Too nervous to present? No worries, it's also a lot of fun being a supportive audience member. The diversity of presentations will definitely keep you entertained!
Quiz Night
Our quiz nights often consist of 2 to 3 games of Jeopardy, with all the trivia being anime themed. Prepare to get bewildered by the nichest of questions, to get confused by clever riddles, and most importantly of all: to amaze everybody with your anime knowledge! Think you know a lot about anime? Why not write your own trivia questions and become the quizmaster for the night instead?
Of course we have many other events on offer, like picnics, arts and crafts events, Anime Band performances, intercollegiate events, movie screenings and more!
