Flagship Events

  • National Future of Surgical Anatomy Conference (FSA)

    • Hosted in collaboration with our counterpart at King’s College London, the National Future of Surgical Anatomy (FSA) Conference is a day-long conference attracting academics and students from all over the country for a day filled with hands-on workshops, talks from renowned specialists, and prizes available for poster presentations! This is a perfect opportunity to better your grasp of anatomy and surgery, as well as network with peers in the field.

  • UCL Anatomy Cup

    • Featuring a buzzer-based competition format, this is a very exciting chance to put your knowledge to good fun! We will be hosting the first ever UCL Anatomy Cup, where winners will be invited to represent the official UCL team for the London Anatomy Cup! As this is our first-ever event, we will be promoting quizzes in our social events to help you get the gist of the competition too.

  • London Anatomy Cup

    • Compete in teams against other London Universities in questions about all-things anatomy. It has been a while since we won the trophy, so we are all looking forward to this challenge!

Academic Resources for Students

  • Anatomy Tutorial Series

    • An indispensable resource for both preclinical medics and all students taking anatomy-based modules. These tutorials are a must for reinforcing core concepts covered in your university lectures. We have planned collaborations with Medical Society and Surgical Society on our ‘Collaboration Tutorial Series’ to ensure the highest relevance to your module’s intended learning objectives (ILOs).

    • We also have our own exclusive ‘Anatomy Society Series’ to go into details beyond the scope of your lecture’s ILOs. We understand that our members have different specific interests within anatomy. We appreciate this and are delighted to partner with a mixture of anatomists, clinicians, and experienced senior students to deliver high quality tutorials.

    • Examples of topics for both these series include Musculoskeletal, Head & Neck, Neuroanatomy, Cardiovascular, and Gastroenterological Anatomy. Tips & Tricks for effective revision, external resources, and practice questions will be featured too. Follow us on instagram at uclanatomysoc to keep up to date with our schedule!

  • Imaging Tutorials Series

    • An important resource for those looking to review their imaging knowledge, taught by expert clinicians. Running alongside our two series of Anatomy Tutorials, we are covering the imaging aspects of Cardiovascular, Neuroanatomy, and Musculoskeletal anatomy. This is definitely a valuable supplement to grasping anatomy better as a whole!

  • Talks from experts in the field

    • Due to our association with the UCL Anatomy Laboratory, we are able to make talks with experts in the forefront of their fields possible. Fascinating topics such as veterinary anatomy, medical engineering, facial reconstruction, and forensics are just a few of these fields.

Social and Welfare Events

  • Art x Anatomy

    • Looking for social events to de-stress and unwind after a long day? In collaboration with UCL Art Society, we have evenings to kick back and relax with us! We've got food, drinks, sketch pads, and plenty of space to chat and chill! We understand the importance of wellbeing and mindfulness and are planning many events similar to this throughout the year.

    • Art x Anatomy Workshops welcoming both beginners and pros to brush up artistic skills and enjoy creative freedom.

  • Trips to London’s Museums & Collections

    • Join us in refreshing trips to view fascinating pieces of anatomical history around London and learn more about the history of anatomy. Trips to Victoria & Albert museum, Old Operating Theatre, and many more are coming up!
