Quant Society: Welfare Officer

Hello everyone! I am a first year Mathematics with Economics student who is interested in the field of quantitative finance and running for the quant society's welfare officer.

As welfare officer, I will strive to boost overall engagement and create a more welcoming community within the quant society.

The importance of every member's wellbeing and opinion cannot be understated, so I want to be the one who will hear out members' concerns or suggestions in order to improve the society. During high-school, I also served as my school's wellbeing ambassador, with my duties involving promoting wellbeing throughout the school. Hence, I believe I would make a suitable candidate for this role with my understanding of how wellbeing impacts individuals.

Through this role, I hope to make this society a more engaging and interactive community where every member feels like they belong and be able to gain something worthwhile from it.
