Lifestyle Medicine Society: Welfare Officer

Well-being, self-actualisation, challenge, encouragement, touching grass - all positive things that I feel Lifestyle Medicine Society does an essential job at promoting. 

I am standing as Welfare Officer to ensure the society retains its focus on wellbeing for its own sake. It doesn't exist to be a CV-building, careers-focused society, but a place where people gather to find others enthusiastic about building a good, whole, healthy life. 

My two focuses are:

- community (regular contact, mutual support)

- education (books, youtube videos, ideas)
