Krishan Parmar

Dear Hedge Fund Society members,

My name is Krishan and I am standing for this position because I want make a meaningful contribution to the running of the Hedge Fund Society this year.

With a strong background in economics and a passion for financial services, I hope to provide relevant, dynamic ideas on how to make this society a valuable offering for our members.

I hope to implement regular workshops and enriching insight sessions for all those who are interested. Leveraging our already strong portfolio of contacts and guest speakers, these will aim to provide a genuine, informative overview of what working in a hedge-fund is really like.

I also will endeavour to build our community and create a network of like-minded students where conversations journey into finance and beyond!

Finally, I would be grateful for the opportunity to serve you all and act as your voice when it comes to organisational matters relating to the society.

We can make this Hedge Fund society flourish in the upcoming year!

Thank you for your vote.

Patrick Sun

I'm Patrick Sun, studying Information Management for Business (26'), and I am excited to stand for the role of Welfare & Community Officer for our society. As someone deeply invested in the well-being of our members and the wider UCL community, I believe I am well-prepared to take on this position. I aim to champion the mental, physical, and social health of our members, ensuring that everyone can thrive in an environment that is both supportive and conducive to personal and professional growth.

My vision as Welfare & Community Officer is to establish a culture that prioritizes wellness while fostering a strong community network within our society. By addressing issues like mental health, housing, and support services, we can build a resilient foundation that enables our members to excel not only academically but also socially and professionally.

As Welfare & Community Officer, I'll work closely with UCL and the Students' Union to represent our members' interests on key issues such as accommodation, mental health, student support, and well-being. I'll also ensure that the Hedge Fund Society remains ethical and sustainable while keeping our membership informed about our initiatives and achievements.

As your Welfare & Community Officer, I'll make every effort to uphold the strategic leadership needed to make our society a thriving and welcoming environment. I look forward to collaborating with each of you to achieve these goals together.
