The Hedge Fund Society is UCL’s newest finance society, founded by students seeking to demystify the intriguing yet enigmatic world of hedge funds for all who are interested.
Our goal as a society is to transform the way students learn and develop their financial knowledge and technical expertise regarding the hedge fund sector. Rather than focusing solely on theoretical concepts, the Hedge Fund Society will provide students with opportunities to directly apply their learnings through our flagship programmes:
- Stock Pitches: our members will have opportunities to participate in various stock pitches throughout the school year, where detailed guidance and resources will be provided. This will allow participants to independently construct well-researched and insightful decks, with additional opportunities to publish their own reports and gain further visibility if done well.
- Hedge Fund Simulation and Analysis: Still in the development stage, this programme is set to provide members with exposure on the operational and decision-making processes of hedge funds.
- Members will also have opportunities to network with guess speakers and hedge fund employees throughout the year via our various social events where exclusive recruitment opportunities may be offered
Our society is still at its nascent stage with significant room for growth. This is your chance to be part of something extraordinary from the ground up. We're looking for enthusiastic, committed students to fill our leadership roles, to drive our initiatives, and shape the society's future. Whether your interests lie in stock pitching, hedge fund simulation, or societal representation, there is a place for you within our team.
