What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

I will work to make as many events accessible to RUMS students as possible - I am well aware of the strange and reduced times available to socialise and I hope to use these to the fullest by communicating effectively between RUMS students and the social secretary/event organisers. I hope this will encourage RUMS students to take part in this society more!

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I would consider myself as an approachable person, so hopefully anyone will feel comfortable and encouraged to raise concerns, problems or suggestions with me.

I have experience in event organising, so I would understand the limitations to compromise more fully and be hopefully be able to make more constructive suggestions for event alteration.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Should I get this role, I will try my best to ensure that LGBT+ events are accessible to RUMS students by suggesting accommodation for events to the social secretary and other event organisers. I will also be open to receive any concerns or feedback you may have and communicate them to the society to the best of my ability.
