As a current student deeply passionate about population health and global healthcare leadership, I am excited to nominate myself for the role of Event Executive within the Population Health Science Society. Based on experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in South Korea, I approach this role with a student mindset—curious, collaborative, and eager to contribute to our academic community.
Throughout my career, I have led cross-functional teams, collaborated with global partners, and managed complex projects. These experiences have strengthened my ability to organise, communicate, and bring people together toward a shared goal. I believe these skills translate naturally into designing engaging academic and social events for our society.
What motivates me most is creating places where students from diverse backgrounds can connect and learn. I hope to develop events that not only broaden our understanding of population health but also foster genuine community at UCL.
If selected, I will work to ensure our events are inclusive, insightful, and inspiring. I would love the opportunity to bring my leadership experience, creativity, and enthusiasm to the society, and to contribute meaningfully to the learning journey we share.
Participating in events, expanding our knowledge, and building meaningful friendships and networks are essential parts of student life. I am committed to contributing to these opportunities by actively supporting and organising activities that enrich our community. As an Event Executive, I will work diligently to plan, coordinate, and deliver impactful events that benefit all students. I am passionate about creating spaces where we can learn, connect, and grow together.
I would like to ask for your vote so I can help make these events possible and ensure we have as many engaging and memorable experiences as we can throughout the year.
