I would like to express a keen interest in the welfare officer role for triathlon as I would like to help in organising welfare events, be a point of support for the club and help run various club initiatives such as Men’s Mental Health, NEDA and Women’s history month. I would also like to get better at cycling and triathlon as a whole and help in the running of the club. I will also try to be the link between RAX and triathlon. I aim to attend training consistently and compete as regularly as possible. At my home running club, I was appointed as Junior Women’s captain where I encouraged junior members, helped in selecting teams and put forward any ideas, comments or queries of the Junior members to the committee. Therefore, this previous experience will help me in doing this role. I always try to be approachable as possible and be happy to help with any queries or issues.
