Violette Molson

Hi, my name is Violette, and I would love to be the next Tennis Social Secretary. I have been committed to socials this year and this has inspired me for many new ideas for the coming year. I am dedicated to creating fun themes and different social events (such as Find the Chicken, regular pub crawls, scavenger hunts in teams and even pub quizzes) and organising pre-socials at mine!

Right now, I feel like the main thing Wednesday socials is lacking is group events and activities to bring all the different tennis teams together. I am looking forwards to organising team games at mine before going to the pub or Scala, as well as having a list of themes ready at the beginning of the year with fun new ones.

I really enjoy social Wednesdays and would love to make them more exciting with more outings as a group. I’d like to bring the teams together off court, and if you vote for me I promise to bring out the social aspect.

Vote for me, Violette Molson

Hi everyone!

I’m excited to be running for Social Secretary for UCL Tennis.

This club has such an incredible community, and I want our socials to truly reflect that. My goal next year is simple: make socials better, more inclusive, and more centred around UCL Tennis.

I want to move towards more tennis-specific events that bring all parts of the club together — BUCS, LUSL and R&D — so our socials feel uniquely ours. That means themed tennis nights, mixed team tournaments followed by socials, inter-squad competitions, alumni events, and creative formats that celebrate our club’s identity rather than just standard nights out.

I also want to improve consistency and organisation — clearer themes, betters planning, and making sure every event feels worth showing up to. Whether you’re a fresher or a final-year, a BUCS or brand new to tennis, you should feel welcome and excited to get involved.

Most importantly, I care about building a stronger sense of community. The best part of this club isn’t just the tennis — it’s the people. I want to create more opportunities for everyone to mix, connect, and make memories that last beyond university.

If you want socials that feel bigger, better, and truly representative of UCL Tennis, I’d love your vote.

Thank you!
