Kripa Masrikibria

I’m standing for this role as I am already the Social Media Officer for Psychology and Education Society and would love to continue creating engaging, informative and inclusive content for our members. Over the past few months, I’ve worked to create Instagram posts to promote events, which has given me a good sense of what our PES members engage with and truly enjoy. Alongside this, I have graphic design and art skills, which means I can create clear, visually engaging and accessible posts that truly stand out.

If re-elected, I want to move beyond just posting and develop more creative, consistent and interactive social media strategies for the society. This includes clearer posting schedules around key events, more educational and reflective posts and regular series that spotlight panels and opportunities for our society. I also don’t want people to miss out just because they aren’t on Instagram, so I’ll make sure important announcements and reminders go out on our WhatsApp groupchat as well.

Overall, my aim is to make our socials feel like a space where everyone is informed and included, with a touch of aesthetics and creativity, and with my experience this year and my skills, I feel ready to turn our social media into something more intentional, engaging and genuinely worth following. I want our platforms to move beyond basic announcement and become a consistent, visually appealing and an accessible space that reflects who we really are as a society!
