Netball Club: Welfare Officer

Since joining social netball in September, I have found that the club has positively contributed so much to my university experience. I have met almost all of my closest friends in netball and have found so much enjoyment in attending the weekly socials. I find UCNC to be an extremely welcoming and fun society where everyone can find their people and feel included. It is important to me that everybody has the same positive experience I have had of netball and I would love to contribute to the club as welfare officer. It would be my utmost priority that everybody feels included and has a shoulder to lean on at all times. Additionally, I would prioritise taking care of members’ mental health as they go through the trials and tribulations of university by carrying out welfare checks and possibly hosting welfare events.
