RUMS Cricket has been one of the best parts of my first year, and I’d love the opportunity to give something back as Social Secretary. I’ve been to many socials this year, so I’ve seen first-hand what makes them successful and what really brings the club together.

Through being actively involved in the social events and forming friendships across multiple year groups, I understand what keeps socials inclusive and well-attended. Having held leadership roles previously, I’m confident in my organisation, reliability, and ability to take responsibility. I would ensure events are planned well in advance, promoted effectively, and executed smoothly.

As one of the girls in what is largely a male-heavy club, I know how intimidating sports nights and big socials can feel at first. I’d love to work closely with the Women’s Officer to ensure girls feel genuinely welcome and included, helping strengthen attendance and confidence across the whole club.

I genuinely love cricket and the culture around RUMSCC. The club has made my first year so much better, and I’d be proud to help shape its social side next year.
