Climbing and Mountaineering Club: Welfare Officer

Hello! My name is Annelise, you've probably seen me around the Castle every Wednesday.

I find climbing to be such an amazing sport, but also an opportunity to wind down after a long day or momentarily forget all of my problems. 

As welfare officer I want to make sure that everyone feels relaxed, at home, and included in our climbing community. University life can be so stressful, and exams can feel like the be all end all, but I want to make a space where we can all escape and keep a glimpse of the mythical 'work life balance'. 

I can lend a listening ear, I can be your belayer, I can do it all! And then share a pint at the pub afterwards too.
