Hi guys! 

Hopefully most of you know me already but if not helloooo I’m Evie, I’m a first year PhD student, and I’m running for social secretary!! 

Even though I just started my PhD, I’m actually in my 5th year here at UCL and 3rd year as part of UCLCMC. This club has been my favourite part of UCL so far, it’s how i’ve met so many of my best friends and hopefully where i will meet so many more in the future. I was assistant gear sec last year but was hoping next year i could get a bit more hands on as social sec to give back a little and hopefully organise some events for you all to enjoy. I would be aiming to keep up the amazing work of social secs past by continuing the fab events that are an annual staple in the calendar while hopefully bringing some new ideas to the table too! 

Some of my credentials that i think would make me a great candidate include winning the honorary committee member award in Portland (twice), being crowned pub golf 2025 champion, and my tendency to spend more time chatting than actually climbing :)
