Volleyball Club: Women's Captain

Hi everyone! My name is Lili and I believe I would make a good captain for the Women’s volleyball team because of my 8 years of experience playing volleyball as well as my previous experience at UCL volleyball. 

During my volleyball career, I have been captain on my high school team as well as coached younger teams. Both of these experiences have given me the insight and leadership skills which I believe make me a good candidate for captain.

Having been on the UCL Women’s team for two years, I believe I have a good understanding of what the team environment and spirit is like and what should be upheld in that sense. Additionally, I am familiar with the organizational requirements that a captain should manage in order to keep the team functioning. 

As captain next year, I plan on promoting team bonding on and off the court as well as provide support for incoming players through social events. I hope that we can continue our high level volleyball into this coming season and win at Student cup again!
