Giulia Martins Pian

Hi guys! I’m running for Social Secretary because I’m dedicated to making our socials as dynamic as our gameplay. I’m committed to organizing events that will create lasting memories both on and off the volleyball court. As a new player, I’ve experienced firsthand how social events can ease nerves and help everyone feel more connected to the society. In this role, I’ll ensure we have weekly events that cater to everyone - whether it’s relaxed evenings in or fun nights out, I guarantee there’ll be something to spike your interest!

Milena Backyte

I joined Volleyball Soc this year and have had so much fun with all the events so far, so I’m applying to continue on this legacy and make this society one of the most recognisably enjoyable and social societies at UCL!

I plan to organise a whole range of social activities, including things like Scala socials and Mulley’s Karaoke nights, as well as more relaxed things like games nights, society meals, and more of trying out other sports like ice skating, rock climbing, bowling etc. I’ve been present at like a good 80% of all the socials from this year and will often procrastinate my uni work to go out so you can trust that I will be an active social sec and will put in effort to make sure there is constantly a fun outing for everyone in volleyball soc to look forward to.
