Tennis Club: President

Hi everyone!

I’m Addy, and I’m currently the Social Secretary and M1 Captain. This year, I’ve had the privilege of being deeply involved in the club, helping to organize major events like the Christmas Ball, regular socials, and Varsity. Seeing the club thrive and bringing people together through tennis has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I’m eager to take this to the next level by running for President.

My vision for the club is centered around growth, opportunity, and inclusivity. Next year, I want to:
• Expand our thriving R&D programme even further—one of the club’s unique aspects that ensures everyone has the chance to get involved.
• Enhance our competitive programme by introducing more hitting courts for match players before weekly fixtures, increasing our chances of promotion.
• Strengthen unity across all areas of the club—BUCS, LUSL, and R&D—through more joint events, socials, and tournaments.

I know that being President is a big challenge, and I don’t take that lightly. But I’m committed, motivated, and ready to give my all to ensure that every member has a positive and fulfilling experience in the club.

It has been a privilege to serve on the committee this year, and I’d like to thank Oli for his dedication to the club this year. I have full confidence that this committee can make next year one of the best in UCL Tennis history, and I can’t wait to continue building and growing this club alongside all of you.
