Table Tennis Club: Social Session Captain

Hi everyone, I'm Bedat, a first-year economics student. Not being particularly good in table tennis, I actually worried if I would fit in when I first joined the club. And I was proven wrong instantly. The atmosphere here is one of the most welcoming I've encountered in any sports club and it offers much more than just the chance to play. I've met many new friends, and both the table tennis sessions and socials have truly brightened my university experience. As a newcomer once, I'm excited to pass on that same welcoming spirit by helping create a community where everyone feels a sense of belonging and support.

My previous experience in organizing a chess competition has helped me develop key skills such as strong attention to detail and effective communication. These abilities will allow me to identify areas for improvement in the social sessions and communicate them clearly to the committee, which makes me an ideal candidate of Social Session Captain.
