The talks and events at the held by the Surgery & Interventional Science Society have been incredibly educational and informative regarding different technological advancements in medicine. By electing me as a social media officer, I will do my best to promote the outreach of the events ensuring people stay aware of the research and development happening in real time. This exposes us students to these current affairs, allowing us to become involved and be the future generation of progress in the medical technology field.

I would like to make a difference during my time at UCL, by contributing in this student lead society, providing career based networking opportunities in biotech industry. I would like to get involved in shaping of the society, by reaching out to many students who will benefit from our events, via social media and events. It is important for us to find out more about the various career paths in the industry. We have plethora of resources and networks available at UCL, through alumni and I aim to assist, by  making them accessible to the society members through social media and events.
