Hola all!
As a passionate advocate for the well-being and support of all members, I am excited to apply for the role of Welfare Sec. My vision is to maintain the supportive and inclusive environment of the society, where every member feels valued, safe and empowered, both on and off the waves! As your potential Welfare Sec, I promise to continue being my approachable, friendly and caring self. I believe that by fostering open communication and creating safe spaces for sharing, we can build an even stronger, more connected society.
UCL has sparked my love for surfing and as a beginner surfer, I aim to expand our surfing community as well as uniting surfers of all skill levels. Our recent trip to Lanzarote was truly unforgettable and as a potential committee member, I will be committed to providing everyone with the opportunity to have similar experiences.
Caring for others has always been a passion of mine, and with 3 years of experience working as a ‘care assistant’ and as a sports coach I would say that I am certainly qualified for the role- I am even first aid trained ;)
I'm all about good vibes, open ears, and will ensure that everyone is riding the waves of life with a smile.

Surf’s up, and so is my enthusiasm to ride the wave of responsibility as Welfare Secretary for another year! I’m here to make sure everyone’s needs are covered—whether it’s a good board, some sunscreen, a yoga class or just a friendly ear. They say the best surfer is the one who’s having fun… I'll keep the good vibes rolling and the welfare of our crew in check!
