One of my favourite parts of this year has been getting to know the team and building friendships I'll never lose. We empower each other. They have been there for me all through the season but especially through my injury and I would love the opportunity to pass that love forwards onto next year's team. I also think that while it has prevented me from playing rugby for the end of the season, I now understand how a longer-term injury can affect someone mentally and it's made me appreciate and understand the importance of a welfare secretary a lot more.

One thing I would implement next year is a quick survey after games to gauge how comfortable players feel on the pitch, both due to injury and general confidence playing.I also thought the addition of the EDI reps this year was an excellent idea and would like to carry it on next year. It gives members a chance to get involved and make a difference in the club, and makes sure inclusivity is a year-round priority (rather than only during pride month, for example).

If you vote for me, my top priority would be to make sure every single person on the team feels heard and supported. I will ensure that players don't feel pressured to play on injuries and I would dedicate my time to knowing the whole team and ensuring they feel healthy (both mentally and physically). Together, we’ll build a team culture that prioritises well-being and fosters lasting bonds both on and off the pitch.
