Rare FM: President

Hiii! My name is Niki, I'm a second year English student and have been at Rare for two years now (was head of sponsorship and marketing this year) and have been able to witness firsthand how much passion and creativity this station holds. Music fills every corner of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. That's why this society is so near and dear to my heart because it lets me share that love!

As president, I would... 

1. increase Rare FM's presence through collaborations with societies, student events, and campus wide promotions. UCL needs to hear more from us!
2. expand on Rare FM's collaborations with venues for club nights + expand on parties and socials (Bored of Scala?? Us too!)
3. organise career based opportunities for DJs/members in radio hosting, production, and music journalism (with industry professionals!)
4. secure more funding and sponsorships for equipment upgrades + Rare FM merch (Stickers, Shirts, etc.)!
5. introduce feedback sessions where members can suggest improvements and new ideas

Rare FM is such an integral part of UCL, yet not a lot of students know about it!! I love this station with my whole heart (and ears) and would love for that to change.
