Since joining PASS and the careers subcommittee, I have found a wealth of opportunities and a greater sense of connection to Hong Kong. As your proposed careers officer I will ensure that you will receive dedicated and extensive careers advice and opportunities in the upcoming year. As a dual Hong Kong/British citizen who moved to England at 13, I never felt fully connected to Hong Kong. UCLPASS has given me the opportunity to do so, allowing me to connect and find a community amongst other Hong Kongers. My upbringing makes me uniquely placed to help incoming freshers find their ‘home away from home’.

Hi ! I am Phoebe, a first-year Statistics, Economics and Finance student. A person who is a fast learner, adaptable and fast-paced environment has experienced 4 years of studying aboard. Experiences from past years strengthen my problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. I has actively engaged with UCLPASS over the past year as a career subcommittee. My experience as a Career Subcommittee member has shown me how valuable career events are for HK students, including myself. Being involved in organizing these events has strengthened my confidence in taking on this role. I hope to continue creating meaningful opportunities for career events and industry insights.
