I am excited to apply for the position of Marketing Director for the Population Health Science Society. Throughout my first year of studying this degree, I have developed a strong passion for improving health outcomes and addressing inequalities. Therefore, this role presents an excellent opportunity for me to combine my enthusiasm for population health along with my creative and strategic approach to marketing.
Marketing is a powerful tool for driving awareness, engagement, and change. For instance, the Cannes Festival Grand Prix winner for 2024 in the Wellness and Health category, Specsavers’ "Misheard Version," successfully promoted their audiology services, highlighting the importance of hearing health and reducing stigma. This demonstrates how strategic marketing can influence health outcomes.
In my previous school, I founded and served as the Marketing Director of the Yoga and Wellness Club. To successfully promote the club, I designed engaging visuals using Canva and Photoshop. Additionally, I interned at Ogilvy Health, where I gained crucial insights into health marketing. During my internship, I was tasked with creating visuals for brands and received valuable feedback from industry professionals, further refining my marketing skills.
I am confident that my experience in branding and engagement strategies will expand the society’s outreach and impact. I look forward to the opportunity to apply my skills and passion to this role.
