Hi everyone! I’m Ivan, and I’m running to be your treasurer. I joined the parkour club this year and have found it to be one of the warmest and friendliest places at UCL. I’d love to give back to this society and make it a more inclusive environment for all members.

With experience managing budgets for various events, including a Talent Show that accommodated over 600 attendees in high school, I am confident in my ability to handle the financial details of our parkour events. As your treasurer, I will navigate challenges such as managing expenses for trips during reading weeks and after final exams, including accommodation, indoor parkour bookings, and commuting fees. My goal is to manage our budget efficiently to maximise parkour experiences for everyone!

I am detail-oriented and communicative, qualities that make me a strong candidate for this role. As the initiator of “Let Youth Speak!”, which offers volunteer lessons on presentation skills to 150 children, I have demonstrated my organisational skills and attention to detail. I contacted community centres and schools to coordinate teaching materials and timetables, receiving positive feedback from students and parents. These experiences highlight my ability to manage details effectively and communicate clearly, which is essential for the role of treasurer.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to earn your vote!
