Aiesha Ahmed

Hi I'm Aiesha and I'm running for Sports Officer for the incoming year,

Having been part of the PakSoc committee for 6 months now I have grown to love the sense of family and community that it provides so I would love to be a part of the committee in the year coming up.

What I bring:

  • I have experience as being PakSoc first year representative, coordinating events, and have knowledge of how the system works
  • Fun new events such as sports nights with other societies and match screenings!
  • Will make sure we have more fun games/food events this year like Khushaamdeed
  • Just a nice person in general, feel free to approach me with suggestions for events or changes you would like for PakSoc

I <3 PakSoc. Dil Dil Pakistan.

Ali Yasin

I am applying for the role of Sports Officer because I am passionate about bringing people together through sports. Sports are more than just games—they build friendships, teamwork, and a strong sense of community. As part of the Pakistan Society, I want to create exciting opportunities for everyone, whether you’re a competitive athlete or just looking for a fun way to stay active.

If elected, I will organize regular tournaments, friendly matches, and training sessions for cricket, football, and other popular sports. To add excitement, I'll host thrilling themed tournaments like 'Pakistan vs. India' matches to boost fun and friendly rivalries.

Additionally, I'll arrange weekly chaiwala outings for members to relax, socialize, and bond after matches. I will also introduce new sports and activities to ensure inclusivity, so everyone feels welcome to participate. My goal is to make sports a key part of the society, helping us connect, de-stress, and represent Pakistan with pride.

With my leadership skills and dedication, I will ensure that our sports events are well-organized, engaging, and enjoyable for all. Vote for me, and let’s make Pakistan Society’s sports bigger and better than ever!"

Haris Wahla

Growing up in Pakistan, I’ve always seen sports as more than just a game. It’s a language that brings people together, a bridge that connects strangers, and a bond that lasts a lifetime. Whether it’s a heated cricket match in the streets or a football game in the park, sports have always been a powerful way to unite people, create friendships, and build a sense of belonging.

Being part of the Pakistan Society during my first year, I noticed something—while we had amazing social events, there were so many missed opportunities for sports to bring our society even closer. Sports don’t require small talk or mutual interests; they naturally break barriers and create connections through teamwork and shared passion.

From casual matches to competitive tournaments, I want to introduce sports events, both internal and external, where everyone feels welcome, whether they are an athlete or just looking for a fun way to unwind.

University life can be stressful, and what better way to shake off that academic pressure than hitting a six with your teammates or scoring a last-minute goal? Sports aren’t just about competition—they’re about laughing together, pushing each other, celebrating wins, and enjoying. Through these events, I want to create a space where friendships form, stress fades away, and every Pakistani feels part of a supportive and active community.

Let's believe in the power of sports to bring people together, create unforgettable memories, and make our society even stronger.
