A bit about my background:
I have performed in concerts and events since age three, playing violin and piano. I study music theory and sing at a professional level with the National Youth Choir and its advanced ensemble, National Youth Voices in my free time. My Music Technology A-Level and experience as Assistant and Co-Musical Director for Shrek, Birds of Paradise, and an original UCL musical have built a strong foundation in MDing. Now, I’m eager to expand my skills to benefit the wider MT community.

If I am elected as your Resident Musical Director next year, I aim to:

  • Enhance the society’s already outstanding productions, taking them to the next level musically
  • Closely work with Musical Directors of productions and events with particular focus on MT Gala and Spotlight
  • Share expertise, especially in vocal direction, to support and develop musical performances
  • Host workshops on musical theory and practical musicianship to improve members’ overall musical abilities
  • Collaborate with other music and live music societies to bring more musicians and singers into MT soc

Why you should vote for me:
This year, I have progressed from having no prior MDing experience to co-MDing two productions, handling all aspects of the role, and even co-writing for an original musical. This demonstrates my drive, commitment, and ambition to help MT Soc flourish. I am excited by the prospect of furthering this journey and ensuring that the society continues to thrive musically - leaving no member behind.
