My experience in event production, leadership, and fashion makes me a strong candidate for Head of Production. As School Artist Prefect, I organized a sustainable fashion show, managing everything from concept to execution. This strengthened my ability to coordinate teams, problem-solve, and handle logistics—all essential for fashion event production. Beyond fashion, I have led large-scale events like a Rohingya Refugee Christmas party, working with diverse teams under tight deadlines. My leadership roles, including chairing MUN and serving as a school prefect, have developed my organization, communication, and team management skills. As a model in this year’s MODO show, I have firsthand experience of how fashion events operate behind the scenes. This gives me a strong understanding of show production, scheduling, and coordination—allowing me to anticipate challenges and ensure smooth execution. Working in a five-star hotel bar at The Westin and running a game show taught me to think on my feet, adapt quickly, and perform under pressure—critical for fast-paced productions. My time at Shalini Misra Architects reinforced the importance of teamwork and precision, invaluable in event execution. As an architecture student, I have strong time management and organizational skills and thrive in dynamic environments. Passionate about fashion and event production, I am confident in my ability to deliver high-quality, well-run shows for the society.

Hi everyone, I’m Millie, a second year media student at UCL, and I believe my background gives me an edge in understanding both the creative and technical sides of production. I’ve been learning the ropes, from theory to hands-on skills, and I’m excited to put that knowledge into practice.
After organising, directing, and writing a shoot for Term 2 Mag, I realised I wanted to take on more responsibility in production. That experience gave me a well-rounded perspective—from managing teams to solving problems on the spot. I discovered the importance of balancing creativity with logistical planning, and I truly enjoyed the challenge of making sure everything come together seamlessly.
I’m organised, a strong communicator, and always ready to tackle challenges head-on. Whether it’s making sure everyone knows what’s going on or finding quick solutions to last-minute problems, I’m someone who keeps things running smoothly. I pride myself on my ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a positive atmosphere even when things get hectic.
I’m excited about the chance to bring my skills, my passion, and all that good energy to MODO. Let’s continue with the bold creativity the team is known for, while also bringing fresh ideas, new approaches, and some exciting twists to keep MODO’s productions as dynamic and cutting-edge as ever.
Thanks for considering me for the role!

I want to apply for the Head of Production role in the Fashion Society because I am passionate about both fashion and organization! I have experience planning events, including a clothes swap event that reached over 2,000 people. I also worked as a coordinator and host at London Fashion Week and have been working in theater productions at the Royal Exchange and Contact Theatre.
I am highly organized, good at planning, budgeting, communicating and thinking through all aspects of production to ensure everything runs smoothly. In addition, I have experience in media, producing my own music videos and films, podcasts, magazine pages, 3D animation and running a fashion media vlog.
I have also worked on international shows like America’s Got Talent, Game of Talents France, Dancing with the Stars Ukraine, and Das Supertalent Germany, which have given me strong skills in production, teamwork, and organization. I would love to bring my experience to the Fashion Society and help create well-organized and exciting events and productions!
