I prioritise the well-being of every member, striving to create a supportive, inclusive, and accessible environment where everyone feels valued and heard. My goal is to ensure that every individual receives the support they need to thrive. I want to continue to support this club in my final year.

I'm running for Vice President because I’m passionate about MMA and want to help grow and strengthen our society. This sport has given me confidence, resilience, and an amazing community, and I want to give back by making our club even more inclusive, well-organized, and welcoming to everyone—whether you're a seasoned fighter or a complete beginner. As a Psychology student, I bring strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to the role. My experience as a student ambassador has taught me how to engage with different people, organize events, and promote a positive community. If elected, I’d focus on organizing more social events, and ensuring every member feels heard and supported. I believe MMA is about more than just fighting—it's about pushing yourself, supporting each other, and growing together. I’d love the chance to help make our society the best it can be!

Hi everyone! My name is Kimia and I’m a 5th year medical student. Since joining the club, I’ve loved every session, met amazing people, and pushed myself more than ever. As Vice President, I want to help the club grow, bring members together, and create more opportunities to train and compete. I’ll help organise more socials and set up competitions with other sports clubs—especially inter-university ones, so we can show everyone what we’re made of! Whether it’s supporting members, improving how things run, or making sure everyone feels welcome, I’ll put my all into this role. I’m passionate about MMA and committed to helping the club grow and succeed!
Martial arts have always been a significant part of my life since the days of learning Karate as a child. Since joining our society, I went to nearly all the practice sessions, sparring or drilling with the majority of you and seeing firsthand why this club is one of the best of UCL—our team spirit. The energy that we have is truly special, and I would like to help make it even better next year.
To elevate our society to the next level, I want to collaborate with other martial arts societies. Not only would this give us the chance to train with experts in other disciplines, but it would also bring more fun to the training sessions! Also, such collaborations could finally bring into being the long-spoken-about idea of a Uni Fight Night in London—something that the majority of us have long wished to see happen over the past two years. With the right planning, I genuinely believe that we could bring this dream to life.
I also bring experience in running a successful society. Last year, I was the UCL Poker Society President, and I can tell you—being a society president at UCL requires a lot of behind-the-scenes hard work. From paper work, registrations, and accounts to handling the apparently endless bureaucracy of the Students’ Union, I have already learned to do things effectively.
I'm committed to making our MMA Society better. If you share this vision, I'd be honored to have your support.
PS : If you can't recognise me, I uploaded another picture in my nomination for Treasurer.
