Hello! I’m Emily, a 2nd-year Biomedical Sciences student.

This year, I had the privilege of serving as Portal Executive, where I mainly managed our UCL MedTech Portal. Now, I am eager to take my commitment deeper and contribute more to the society that has played a huge part in my life at UCL.

I have many experiences in leadership, including House CaptainChair of the Student Council and President of the Environmental Society, where I initiated a £20,000 Greenhouse Project, showing my dedication and organisational skills. As the President of UCL Japan Society, the biggest Japan-affiliated university organisation worldwide, I believe that I have the necessary qualities to lead the largest MedTech in Europe. Having organised large-scale events with companies by effectively delegating tasks to my committee and liaising with the Students’ Union, I understand the logistics behind running our significant events such as workshops and conferences at MedTech.

Additionally, being the Treasurer of UCL Biomed Society and Lead Academic Representative, along with diverse committee positions in Life Sciences and Piano Society, have all equipped me with much experience to maximise time management and decision-making.

I am ambitious to apply my skills to maintain the excellent standards set by our current committee while showing you what more MedTech can offer! I promise to prioritise your voice so MedTech continues to be the leading platform for everyone to impact the future of
