I would love to be the Social Media Officer of the Mahjong Society because I am passionate about engaging with people and creating a strong online presence for the society. Social media is key to promoting events, attracting new members, and keeping the community connected, and I am eager to take on this role.

Previously, I was a Psychology Society ambassador, where I helped plan and promote discussions on various psychology-related topics. Alongside this, my experience as a School Council representative and House Prefect has strengthened my communication, organisation, and leadership skills. Additionally, as a former Design and Technology student, I have experience using various design tools to create visually appealing content. This will allow me to design engaging social media posts that effectively promote the society’s events and activities.

I am excited about the opportunity to manage the society’s social media, create eye-catching content, and help foster a connected and active community. I look forward to working with the committee to grow the society’s presence and ensure members stay informed and engaged.

Hello everyone! My name is Cyrus, and I am running for the position of Social Media Officer for next year. Mahjong is an integral part of Chinese culture, and since joining the Mahjong Society this past September, I have felt a warm welcome and immense joy in being part of this community. I am determined to contribute more to the society's success by running for this role.

With my prior experience leading the design team for my high school magazine, I am confident in my ability to create engaging posts that generate buzz and attract a diverse audience. Whether you’re a new player, an experienced one, or from a different cultural background, I hope to introduce and promote Mahjong to a wider range of people. Thank you for your time, and I hope to earn your vote!
