Mahjong has deep roots in the past of ancient China, and it still remains as a staple in Chinese homes - often played during family and friends gatherings and at celebratory events.

We welcome all students to learn more about Mahjong – a 144 tile based game that is similar to the western game “rummy”. Mahjong originated in China, back in the Qing dynasty, though it is also now widely played in Eastern Asian countries with different regional variations. We strive to broaden our participants’ horizons and to enhance cultural awareness by encouraging an open discussion platform whilst playing Mahjong.

We play all different Mahjong play style and rules from various regions. Whether your completely new or a master at mahjong, we welcome you to join us!
