Rose Chuen

Hello everyone! I am Rose. I am a first year student studying Natural Sciences. Since joining the magic society, I am so lucky to be welcomed by all of you. It has been fun being in this society and I have enjoyed it incredibly.

Despite my lack of ability to perform magic, I love magic and love seeing everyone gain joy from both performing and being an audience.

I wish to take part in the committee of Magic Society. As welfare officer, I will have goals of maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of this tight-knit society, keeping it a safe place and spreading joy!

Jimmy Ji

I am eager to serve as Welfare Officer because I am deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment within the Magic Society. My strong interpersonal and communication skills allow me to engage effectively with members, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed, valued, and heard. I believe that a thriving community is built on mutual respect, inclusivity, and well-being, and I am dedicated to upholding these principles.

In this role, I will actively listen to members’ concerns, advocate for their well-being, and implement initiatives that enhance the society’s atmosphere. Whether through organizing well-being events, facilitating open discussions, or being a reliable point of contact for those in need, I will work to create a space where all individuals can feel comfortable and supported.

With a proactive and empathetic approach, I aim to strengthen the society’s sense of community and ensure that it remains a welcoming and enjoyable space for all. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way and look forward to making a positive impact.

INFP by the way so you have to believe everything I said

Sicheng Lu

Hi everyone! I’m Charlie Lu, a currently  first-year Earth Sciences student at UCL, and I’m running for Welfare Officer of the UCL Magic Society.

The first year's experience in magic society is pleasant and delighted. Magic society is not only about tricks—it’s about community, creativity, and having fun together. As Welfare Officer, I want to make sure that everyone feels welcome, supported, and included, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced magician. I’ll always be here to listen, promote a positive atmosphere, and help make our society a place where everyone can thrive.

Vote for me, and let’s make Magic Society an even more amazing place for all!
