Hi everyone, I’m Sarita and I’m running for President of Lamorna society! After attending all the candle workshops this year, I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and creativity our sessions offer. I’d love to continue maintaining this space for everyone to take time off and unwind through regular workshops.
In addition to the workshops, here are my ideas to enhance our candle making experience!
• introduce more decorative elements, eg. utilising small wax melts, wax crumble, ribbons etc., for more expansive creative possibilities!
• launch a suggestion form so members can share ideas for workshop themes and ways to enhance our society.
• bring back Lamorna’s charity sale as a way to unite our members and at the same time give back to our community!
With my experiences with leading clubs, I believe I can work efficiently and collaborate with the committee to continue to provide this wonderful experience to everyone.
