Hello! My name is Polina, a 2nd year BSc Biological Sciences (Cell and Developmental Biology) student. I would love to be your next Social Media Manager for Kinesis Magazine!
As a researcher on the Podcast Subcommittee, I have seen first-hand the dedication that goes into creating podcasts and articles that make diverse topics in the life sciences more accessible. I want to expand Kinesis' reach so that more people can enjoy the hard work of our magazine and podcast contributors!
My vision:
- To grow our social media, I would like to show more interactive content on social media by posting Q&As, quizzes and fun facts related to biology.
- I would also show behind the scenes content of magazine and podcast production to inspire people to take part.
- I would continue to promotion of our magazine articles, website and podcasts so that people always know where to find our work.

My name is Patrick Toh, I am a second year studying BSc Applied Medical Science. I am the current Marketing Officer and I currently hope to re-run for the Marketing Officer position for the 2025/26 academic year. I believe I am suitable for the role due to the experience I have gained being the marketing officer for Kinesis Magazine. I have significantly improved my creativity skills and the use of Canva, creating elaborate posts on Instagram and Facebook. Additionally, I have strong organisation and time management skills, managing and meeting tight deadlines to post Instagram posts. Finally, I also developed communication and teamwork skills, collaborating and working with other committee members to host social events. I hope to continue to make progress and contribute as the Marketing Officer for Kinesis Magazine.
