Jazz Society: Volunteering & Community Outreach Officer

Hi, my name is Kunal and I'd like to be your volunteering and community outreach officer next year. Being a part of the jazz over the past two years has been a great experience and I would love to share that with out local community. In general school music is underfunded and children don't get the same opportunities anymore to enjoy the arts. We all know the benefits of a good music education, in many ways this is what has brought us together in jazz society. 

I hope to achieve this by:

• Organising trips to help in after school music clubs
• Running workships for school students
• Holding fundraising events (such as runs or bake sales) for charities supporting the arts
