Anuja Bipul Tanaya

I am standing for the position of Welfare Officer because I strongly believe in fostering a supportive, inclusive and empowering environment where every member feels heard and valued. Having led initiatives on sustainability and participating in Global Youth Forums like AFS (American Field Service), I have equipped myself with a strong understanding of social impact and community engagement.

As a Welfare Officer, I will:

  • Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all members.
  • Conduct welfare events and mental health workshops
  • Collaborate with other societies to promote student well-being.
  • Address concerns and create a platform where members feel heard and valued.

Although I am new to the society, I am committed to student welfare. I believe that coming in with a fresh perspective allows me to identify new opportunities for welfare initiatives and bring innovative, student-focused solutions to the society.

As the saying goes, "UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL", I will work closely with the committee to foster a supportive and inclusive environment within the society and together, we will make the society not just a platform for advocacy but also a community where everyone thrives.
