IDEA Society: Welfare Officer

I’m running for Welfare Officer because I care about creating a supportive and inclusive environment in UCL Idea Society. University can be overwhelming at times, and I want to make sure that every member feels heard, supported, and comfortable engaging with the society. With my experience as an academic rep and event officer in different societies, I’ve worked closely with students and organized initiatives to improve their experience. As the president of Student Union of ROC in the UK, I’ve also learned how to advocate for different communities and make sure their needs are met. If elected, I’d focus on making welfare support more accessible, creating spaces for open conversations, and ensuring that everyone feels like they belong in the society.
