IDEA Society: Treasurer

I am a quantitative and results driven student prepared to take on the responsibilities involved with the treasurer position for the UCL IDEA Society. I am excited to apply my skills in a role relevant to the career I wish to pursue in the future, wether it be consulting, finance, or other business related ventures. I’m running for Treasurer because I want to help UCL Idea Society grow sustainably by ensuring its finances are well-managed and used effectively to benefit all members. With my experience in event planning and operations—both as the president of Taiwanese Student Union in the UK and an event officer in various societies—I’ve handled budgets, secured sponsorships, and managed resources efficiently. If elected, I’ll focus on keeping finances transparent, optimizing the budget for impactful events, and exploring funding opportunities to support the society’s growth.
