Content creation and management as social media officer is something I am interested in – it’s so important to create engaging material on social media as that is how most people find out about events by a society, at least that’s how I do! I believe I have the creativity skills for this role – essential for creating captivating content, community engagement, and enhancing the reputation of the society. I would promote events and ensure that current members and the rest of the UCL community would engage and participate in events and thus grow the society. It would also be a privilege to get to know the committee to build stronger connections and teamwork. I believe that my communication, planning, organisational, and teamwork skills are strong, which is a requirement for being social media officer, and I hope that my skills would be improved if I get this role.
I have always been interested in medical and humanitarian aid, in particular, humanitarian and disaster medicine. This is because being able to help vulnerable people in crisis areas on an international scale would be a privilege as my main goal in medicine is to help as many people as I can.
I firmly believe that more people should be involved and interested in humanitarian aid, considering many crises happening internationally that affect certain populations’ health and wellbeing. Hence as social media officer, I would be honoured to promote this society and its events through social media.
