UCL Friends of MSF is part of the official student organisation for Médecins Sans Frontières, an independent international humanitarian aid charity which provides medical aid where it is most needed (http://www.msf.org.uk/). Winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999, MSF has received global recognition for its work and continues to operate in 60 countries today.
UCL FoMSF is committed to raising awareness of MSF’s work and to fundraising for ongoing and future MSF projects. From talks by those who have returned from MSF missions, to debates, film screenings and various fundraising events, all of our work revolves around the theme of humanitarian aid. We host several fundraising events throughout the year including games events, speaker events, language classes and many more! The highlight of our fundraising events last year was undoubtedly the FoMSF Charity Gala, which we organised for UCL, other university students and professionals.
Our events are open to students of all faculties. If you are interested in humanitarian aid, Global Health or simply want to make bring kindness to the world we live in, join UCL FoMSF today!
