Football is an important aspect in all of our lives, providing both physical and mental benefits. Red Star is an inclusive and supportive environment, and I hope, with your support, I can help strengthen that further as Welfare Officer. My line will also be open to those in the club, whether you need a chat, advice, or just someone to listen. My qualifications are extensive: 4's VC in our most successful year in world history, loyal patron of the Adam and Eve, and one entire goal for Red Star in a career spanning two years. Although my one goal may be ambiguous, my loyalty to Red Star is anything but, with my loyalty akin to Big Sam and his beloved Brexit ball. With your vote, I hope to fulfil this role with integrity, passion, and the same level of commitment I’ve shown both on and off the pitch.

Hey everyone, I am running for Welfare Officer because I know how important the sense of community is to making Red Star such an amazing club. When I joined as a fresher, I felt welcomed straight away and that is because of the effort that the existing members of the club made to get to know new members and make them feel like we also belonged. Throughout this year whilst studying abroad I have still felt part of the club, despite the fact that I have sadly not been able to play at the marshes.
As welfare officer I would want to make the club feel even more welcoming and ensure that everyone who joins feels as comfortable as I did. I would want to continue with initiatives like Movember which is a great way to raise awareness about men’s mental and physical health. I also aim to continue to work with Olly’s Future charity who we have done great open mic nights and workshops with previously. If elected I would do my best to be an approachable and friendly face with any concerns you may have or even if you just want to have a chat about how far Brighton are gonna go in Europe next year! I know Luke has done a great job this year and I will do my best to continue the work he has done and do my bit to help the best sports club at UCL. UTFRS
Hey everyone!
I’ve been part of the Red Star family for over two years now, captaining the 1s this year and meeting so many of you along the way. I’m putting myself forward for the Welfare Officer role because I’m passionate about keeping Red Star the warm, laid-back, and supportive place we all love.
I’ve worked with charities before and would love to bring that experience here – but above all, my goal is to keep building a close-knit community of mates who look out for one another. I know our values inside and out, and I’m committed to making sure everyone feels welcome, relaxed, and stress-free whenever they’re around Red Star.\
